Alimentry Receives US FDA Clearance for Gastric Alimetry
Alimetry announced it received FDA approval for Gastric Alimetry, a non-invasive medical device for gastric disorders. Alimetry also announced the launch for Alimetry Inc., that will market and distribute Gastric Alimetry in the United States. The system performs a high-resolution recording of digestive patterns and delivers clinical reports to inform diagnosis of gastric diseases, which affects over 8% of the world’s population. The system will enhance clinical outcomes and provide safer, more accessible, and less-invasive care for those with common stomach disorders such as gastroparesis.
